When did it all begin?


HighTechHealth was established in July 2003 and began trading in December 2003.  Our aim was to provide consumers access to the latest health and medical device technology.

What were the three biggest challenges HighTechHealth faced?

Finding the best route to market for our products, maximising return on advertising investment and constantly developing new products at the cutting edge of medical technology.
 

How did The Marketing Helpdesk assist in facing those challenges?

They really helped us break through the barriers that restricted growth.  Being a growing business themselves they understood the dynamics of working within a 'tight-knit' unit.  We were able to call on their experience as much or a little as we liked.  At present our business does not require a full-time marketing director with a marketing team – plus we couldn’t afford one either!  Therefore, The Marketing Helpdesk is fantastic in that we pay only when we are utilising their time and services.

To date what have been the greatest successes that The Marketing Helpdesk has been part of?

Growth in revenues and profit has doubled because we are able to work through projects much faster than if we tried to do it internally. Our overheads are also much lower because we do not need to employ a dedicated Marketing Director. The Marketing Helpdesk fits so seamlessly into our structure that our consultant even has his own HighTechHealth business card.

How would you rate the level of service provided by The Marketing Helpdesk?

Here is an example - We had a meeting with a leading health insurer who was interested in retailing our products to their customers.  The Marketing Helpdesk was integral in the negotiation and their attendance greatly enhanced our corporate image   It gave our potential partner the peace of mind that there was a high level of marketing expertise within our organisation.
